Young Professionals Leadership Council

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The Citizen Advocacy Center's Young Professionals Leadership Council supports the mission and values of CAC, building democracy for the 21st century by creating greater civic engagement, open and transparent government, and assisting citizens as they seek to organize, advocate and become active in civic matters.
The Young Professional Leadership Council is comprised for former interns, volunteers, and young professionals interested in building democracy for the 21st century by creating greater civic engagement, open and transparent government, and assisting citizens as they seek to organize, advocate and become active in civic matters.

The Young Professional Leadership Council identifies ways in which to engage young professionals in the work of the CAC, promotes the CAC's mission, helps to advance projects and programs, and participates in developing CAC activities and reform recommendations that increase citizen participation in community affairs and systemically strengthen the public’s capacities, resources, and institutions for self-governance.
