Every year the Citizen Advocacy Center accepts several law, college, and high school students for the internship program. During the summer, CAC hires the most number of law interns. Our interns work to investigate and analyze reports of what appear to be violations of the law, undemocratic public policies, and obstacles to civic participation should apply.

Meet our past summer 2017 interns below:

Adrienne Arlan, Law Intern
Adrienne is from Chicago, Illinois and was born and raised on the north side (go Cubs!). She is a rising 2L student at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, with interests in environmental law, city planning, and international law against a public service backdrop. Adrienne is the Vice President of the Public Interest Law Foundation at Maurer and a member of the executive board for Outreach for Legal Literacy, an organization that teaches constitutional basics to grammar school kids. She is also involved with the Environmental and International Law societies.

Before law school, Adrienne attended DePaul and Northeastern Illinois University, and she obtained her degree in Philosophy and a minor in marketing. Some of her favorite extracurricular hobbies are hiking, cooking, and going to the theater.
